Contract Instructional Design Opportunity

VisionCor is searching for contract Instructional Designers who have full ADDIE experience and enjoy meeting business goals through engaging learning activities. Please submit your resume if you match the following qualifications.

  • Conduct front-end analysis and gap analysis to determine what is working and not working within the learning environment
  • Evaluate and revise existing training materials to create a cohesive, branded learning experience
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define scope of learning experiences, clarify learning objectives, timeline and projected outcomes.
  • Design and develop excellent learning solutions using methodologies such as ADDIE or Agile to create learning activities that are engaging, activity-based, and results-oriented.
  • Create solutions that satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners through a variety of modalities.
  • Develop learning assessments and training evaluations, analyzes results, makes recommendations, and works with stakeholders to determine return on investment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate current knowledge of industry-standard tools and methodologies in instructional design and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design. Additional qualifications include:

  • Expertise with authoring tools such as Storyline or Captivate
  • Knowledge of training and development practice and methods, including needs assessment and analysis of existing training to provide recommendations
  • Attention to detail and quick turnaround with documentation and presentation materials
  • Ability to develop detailed spreadsheets in Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and needs assessment surveys
  • Experience using virtual tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to facilitate feedback sessions and presentations
  • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led or virtual-led training
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and established industry models of evaluation
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and team player
  • Proven professionalism with extensive consulting experience
  • 4-year degree in business or related field, Master’s preferred
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
